What this website is
This is the public website of OPPWA — Organised Purchasing Power WA — and of the cooperative purchasing networks it operates in Western Australia. It describes the cooperative model and provides a way to enquire about joining as a member or about becoming a partner.
What this website is not
Nothing on this website is an offer, a quotation, or a guarantee of savings. Purchasing arrangements between a cooperative and a partner are commercial agreements with their own terms, and the discounts available to a member depend on those agreements, on the partner, and on what is being bought. Descriptions on these pages are general.
OPPWA.OS, the system behind this website and behind the cooperatives' own operations, is in operation. Where this site illustrates it, the illustrations are not screenshots, and what a member or a partner sees in the live system may differ from them.
Enquiries
An enquiry is not an application and does not create a membership, a partnership or any other relationship. It asks us to contact you. We may decline to proceed with an enquiry, and we may hold an enquiry for review where it appears to duplicate a business we already deal with.
Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the enquiry form. It is a first contact, not a secure channel.
Accuracy
We take reasonable care with what is published here, but details change: cooperatives launch, partners join and leave, and arrangements are renegotiated. Nothing on this site should be relied on as current without checking with us.
Intellectual property
The OPPWA name, the cooperative names, the wordmarks and the content of this site belong to OPPWA or to the cooperatives. Partner names and marks appearing on this site belong to those businesses and are used to identify them.
Links to other sites
Where this site links to another business, that link is not an endorsement of anything on the other site, and we have no control over what it contains.
Availability and liability
This website is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be available without interruption or free of error. To the extent permitted by law, OPPWA is not liable for loss arising from use of this website or from reliance on anything published on it. Nothing in these terms excludes a right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia.
Changes to these terms
Each published version of these terms is kept, with the dates it was in effect. A change creates a new version rather than replacing the one you read.
